| Type of Mark: | Rock | | Perry's Guide: | Page 8 B1 | | Which Guide Map: | North | | Bottom Type: | Sand | | Wind Sheltered From: | South West to East | | How to Get There: | This Island is accessed from a small carpark down a lane off Port Soif Road. | | Access: | click for detailed description
| | Species Available: | Bass, Grey Mullet, Wrasse, Plaice | | How to Fish: | Fishing here can either be with a spinning rod using plugs or spinners for a Bass or standard beach tactics fishing a static bait on the bottom. There have been reports of small ray in this area at distance so a better cast with a fish bait may pay off.
Fishing with bait on the bottom for flatfish or Bass will work but Mullet tactics using shirvy can bring mullet feeding close in. | | Mark information: | The rock gets surrounded on large spring tides but you can stay on the rocks. Watch out for large swells. | | Best Tide: | High Water or rising tide. |
