Key to Access Symbols

Please note that these gradings are a guide only. There is no substitute for loal knowledge from someone who knows the mark the first time you visit.

 

Grade 1: Accessible in a wheelchair and you can fish from a wheelchair if required. Only marks graded "1" have wheelchair access.

Grade 2: Easy access for the able bodied, not too many rocks to clamber over. May involve a fair but not difficult walk to the mark.

Grade 3: Harder to access, climbing over rocks required but the rocks are not too slippery unless wet. May be a longer walk to the mark.

Grade 4: More difficult access, extended walk over rocks which may be slippery or down steep slopes or over weed covered rocks. Could be grade 5 when wet or following heavy rain.

Grade 5: Very difficult access, ropes may be needed for safety, DO NOT fish alone, steep descent over crumbling or slippery rocks. Not for the faint hearted.
